What is your favourate game of all time?

Ok guys.

Thought i'd try to get to know the people in the linkshell a bit better by finding out some random things about you all. In this topic, as the title suggests, tell us what your fave game of ALL time is. I'm talking about present AND past games, and why.

To show i'm a person who leads by example i'll start off really.

For those who have known me for a while in FFXI they know very well my fave is 100% FF7. It was my 1st FF title i had ever played. In fact i got it when Gamesmaster was still airing in the UK as i remember the game being shown on tv with a great review. Cost my mum a bit of money, £54.99 ezactly from littlewoods catelogue and it was an Easter present for me.

Now this game completly changed my gaming life forever as it was my very 1st RPG, and i wasn't dissapointed

Now to why i love it so much. Easy the story line is fantastic without any dull momnets, the gameplay is huge with the materia system as well as the length of the game which even the newest of games on the biggest of discs struggle to match up to after over 10+ years

Rofl I got my ff7 from littlewoods too it took them 6 weeks to get to me as they had to dispatch it from the supplier.
I really did love that game.

I loved gaming especially during the psx era. My dad and I used to modify the consoles then play copies of games before they actually came out over here.

FF7 was my first real RPG too and it got me into the while genre

Baldurs Gate was a great game tho. Hard to pick just one fav... Populous and Elite on the old Amiga, FF7 by far the standout game on the PS (Wipeout 2097 tho... was serious fun with a group of ppl)

FFXI is such a massive MMO, WoW is huge but too much solo game play... NWN was awesome for the community.

So many games and you want me to name just one?

My favorite game? Hm.... Well Final Fantasy IV was my first RPG ever and it will always hold a special place, but my favorite game ever is probably a toss up between Chrono Trigger/Cross, Super Mario World or Zelda: OoT. Of course those are just the ones that popped up first I can't really say I have a favorite.

hehe well i am gonna have to be a big kid here and say sonic 2 for the mega drive was mine ^^
